Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is one of India’s leading private deemed universities, founded in 1984 by G. Viswanathan and headquartered in Vellore. From a single engineering college, it has expanded into a multi-campus institution with campuses in Chennai, Bhopal, and Amaravati.
