O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), located in Sonipat, Haryana, is a private, non-profit university established in 2009 by Naveen Jindal in memory of O.P. Jindal. In a relatively short span, it has emerged as one of India’s leading private universities, particularly in law, business, international affairs, liberal arts, and public policy. It has also been recognised as an Institution of Eminence and has received strong global rankings and ratings in recent years.

The university is organised into multiple specialised schools, including the Jindal Global Law School, Jindal Global Business School, and the Jindal School of International Affairs, along with schools focusing on liberal arts, journalism, psychology, public policy, and more. Across these schools, JGU offers over 45–50 programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels, supported by a wide network of international academic partnerships that enable exchange programmes and global collaborations.
